Statuses in Althea

There are three different types of statuses in Althea: session statuses, participant statuses, and client statuses. To understand this, let's first explain participant vs. client. A participant is a client within a session. Essentially, this allows us to know the status of a client within a session (participant status), and in general (client status).
Session Status

Scheduled: Versus a new status, this session has a scheduled session date.
Ready: Sessions move to ready when all participants have completed any "Required?" checked items on the Preparation tab. And you can control what is required by simply checking or unchecking the "Required?" checkbox. This includes the Baselines (or Risk assessment and Baselines survey), and if in the Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) program, the required OHA forms. If not part of the OPS program, the OHA forms aren't included.
Post-Journey: This indicates that all clients have had an administration session. That means the administration details on the session record have been filled out. Also, the client has to have filled out the if required on the Integration tab.
Completed: Sessions moved to completed after the client has filled out the MEQ-30 survey and Feedback and Outcomes survey.

- Until a client is added to a session, they won't have a participant status.
- When they are added to the session, they are in the Preparing status.
- When they've completed all the required items on the Preparation tab of a session, they'll move to Ready.
- When they've had the following fields filled out on the Administration tab, they move to Post-Journey.
- Primary Dose
- Booster Dose
- Medical Reaction
- Behavioral Reaction
- Finally, when they've finished the required items on the Integration tab, they move to Completed.
One thing that participant statuses help with is knowing where participants stand in a group session. For example, say we have a group session with Linda, Bob, and Mary. The session status could be scheduled, and then the client statuses could be Preparing (for Linda), Ready (for Bob), and Preparing (for Mary). They each need an individual status so a practitioner knows who has yet to complete their preparation.

- If the client does not have any participant records (never been in a session), they are a Prospect.
- If ALL the participant records they have are Completed, then the client status is Completed.
- Otherwise, they are Active, meaning they are currently in a session of some sort that isn't completed yet.
