Measuring Outcomes

An exciting part of Althea is the opportunity to measure outcomes from a client's journey. We think its important to incorporate more feedback into the process so that journeyers, practitioners, centers, and entire programs can more easily measure the impact they are having. It'll allow everyone to learn and improve.

How do I do this in Althea?

This starts with measuring Baselines as a part of preparation. After an administration, we resend those same baseline measures (WHO-5, PHQ-9, GAD-7) via the Feedback and Outcomes Follow-up.

That allows us to have a before and after score, so we can measure the difference. That gives you and your client more numeric data to effectively understand and evaluate their journey.

How do I send these surveys to clients?

For the Baselines and Safety Assessment, you can click the 'Send Questionnaires' button to and we will send an email to the client with links to complete the questionnaires.

For the MEQ-30 and the Feedback and Outcomes Follow-up, if they are marked 'Required' then they will be sent automatically after the journey.

Alternatively, you send the links yourself. Copy the link by clicking on the 'copy' icon (just to the right of the 'Required?' checkboxes to copy the link to your clipboard. Then paste that into an email or text to send to your client.

What's the difference between the Mystical Experience Questionnaire (MEQ-30) and the Feedback and Outcomes Follow-up?

The Mystical Experience Questionnaire (MEQ-30) assesses the depth and nature of a person's mystical or transcendent experience. Learn more about that survey here or take a look at a sample report.

The Feedback and Outcomes Follow-up includes the WHO-5, PHQ-9, and GAD-7 validated medical screeners from the Baselines survey. Learn more about that specific survey here or take a look at a sample report.
